No Passive Learning Here

Most online courses give you videos to watch and quizzes to pass. NowxLabs runs differently. From Week 1, you're working inside a real ServiceNow developer instance, writing scripts, participating in sprint ceremonies, and building features that go into a full project portfolio by the end of Week 12.

Here's what a typical week looks like from the inside.

Monday — Sprint Planning

🗓

Sprint Kickoff (9:00 AM)

Each two-week sprint starts with a planning session. User stories are reviewed, acceptance criteria are defined, and tasks are assigned. This mirrors exactly how ServiceNow development runs in production environments at consulting firms.

💻

Development Begins

You start building your assigned user story on your Personal Developer Instance (PDI). Instructors are available for code reviews and guidance throughout the day.

Tuesday–Thursday — Build & Review

🔄

Daily Standup (9:00 AM, 15 minutes)

Every morning, each participant answers three questions: What did you complete yesterday? What are you working on today? Any blockers? This is the Agile standup format used at every major ServiceNow employer.

🛠

Hands-On Development (9:15 AM onwards)

The bulk of each day is building. Depending on the week, this might involve writing Business Rules, building catalog items, configuring workflows, setting up integrations, or working on the capstone project. No passive video watching — you're in the platform.

👥

Peer Code Reviews

Twice per week, you review a classmate's work and they review yours. This practice directly prepares you for the code review culture at consulting firms and builds the habit of writing clean, readable scripts.

Friday — Learning Sessions & Portfolio Work

📚

Concept Deep-Dive

Fridays include a focused session on a platform concept — GlideRecord queries, Flow Designer flows, integration patterns, or certification exam topics. These sessions deepen the theory behind what you've been building all week.

📁

Portfolio Documentation

Every Friday, you document what you built that week for your portfolio. By Week 12, you have a complete record of 12 weeks of real ServiceNow development work — something no other bootcamp provides.

What the 12 Weeks Build Towards

WeeksFocus
1–2Platform fundamentals, navigation, tables, forms, PDI setup
3–4ITSM — Incident, Change, Problem Management
5–6Scripting — Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes
7–8HRSD — Cases, Employee Centre, Lifecycle Events
9–10Integrations — REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server basics
11–12Capstone project + interview prep + certification revision

The Time Commitment

We're transparent about this upfront: the NowxLabs bootcamp requires 40–50 hours per week. That's the equivalent of a full-time job. This is not a course you do in the background between other commitments.

The intensity is by design. Our 92% placement rate comes from graduates who arrive at interviews with the same mindset and habits as someone who's been on the job for 6 months — because they essentially have been.

💬 From a 2025 graduate: "The standups felt awkward in Week 1. By Week 6 they were natural. My first real job standup, I was the most composed person in the room."
